Trinity Care & Support in Porthcawl, offers short-term respite care services to families who have a child or adult with a Learning Disability living with them.
We give person-centred support - we put the people we work for at the centre of their Domiciliary Care service. We offer personalised activities that enhance, teach and strengthen each individual, allowing them to live the life they want.
Established in 1995, with over 20 years experience in the field of Learning Disability, our first priority is to provide safe, quality care for children, young people and adults.
More than simply being nice to people, it is about respecting a person’s rights and maximising their ability to make their own choices and decisions. Our staff are committed to enhancing the quality of life for people with an intellectual, physical or sensory disability.
Innovative, responsive and flexible, we understand that every person is unique and has different needs. We work with our clients to help access the social and leisure activities they can enjoy. We work with families in a collaborative and flexible way to go above and beyond – to support and advocate for our clients and their carers in a way that gives, but never gives up!
We also offer care at home to help lighten the load of any family pressures which may be affecting the quality of time spent with other members of the family.
We work mainly with adults and children in Bridgend County Borough, taking referrals from Care Managers in the Childrens Disabilities Team and also from the Community Support Team in Adult services, who can assess your need for support and then refer to us.
With numerous awards obtained over the year, we are a Domiciliary Care Service registered with CSSIW since 2004. We secured Investors in People accreditation in 2015.
